Current work
A developing theoretical dialogue with philosopher and literary theorist Alexander Viktorovich Markov concerns the authority of critical language and the endurance of correction. The programme asks how an interpretation comes to guide subsequent decisions, and what allows a justified correction to remain available and effective when that interpretation is encountered again.
This direction extends Museum of One's concern with the afterlife of criticism: how language continues to shape an encounter after its immediate occasion, and how responsibility for that language can remain answerable over time. Possible shared writing remains developing; no agreed writing form or venue is announced here.
Research context
For Post-Interpretive Criticism, the responsibility of a critical account continues beyond the moment in which it is written. An interpretation can become part of the conditions through which later readers encounter a work. The developing dialogue asks how the grounds of a correction can remain available to those readers, and how the correction itself can remain open to further examination.
These are questions for continuing inquiry. The programme does not present a completed joint publication, an agreed writing format, or a settled account of how lasting correction operates.
